My Story
My name is Sheena.
I'm am the owner of Roulet 9 Beauty Bar - This is my story:
I have always loved to do hair. When I was a little girl I would play with the hair on my barbies and cabbage
path dolls. In my teenage years, I would play with my cousin and sisters hair. My grandmother would be so happy because I would do their hair before church or school. After high school graduation, my parents had dreams that I would attend college, but I knew that my passion was doing hair and quickly learned that I had an entrepreneur business focus. However, in pursuit of making my family happy I registered for classes and failed miserably because I knew it was not my life calling. All I ever really wanted was to do hair.
While I was in school, I became pregnant and this is when I knew I needed to change my life course and pursue my passion of doing hair. Although I faced many struggles being a young mom I was able to finish my classes and complete hair school . My mom has been a salon owner for 14 years and she gave me my first foot in the door working at her shop. It was their that I gained valuable experience that would later help me open my own salon Roulet 9 Beauty Bar.
I thought it would take me years to open my own shop but God had other plans. Today I am a salon owner and I offer premium virgin hair and wigs to all of my customers. I believe quality is more important than quantity and hope to change the hair experience for all of my customers.
